Miller Named Memphis Market President for U.S. Bank

By Crystal Howerton
Craig Miller, of Edina, former Vice President and Senior Lender of United State Bank in Edina, has recently moved to the U.S. Bank in Memphis.
Having been employed with the Edina bank for more than 8 years, Craig said that making the change was a difficult decision. "The USB was very good to my family and I," said Craig, "However, the opportunity for advancement was something I couldn’t pass up."
With twelve years banking experience, Miller has developed a strong ag lending and management background that should benefit the Memphis bank and its patrons.  Prior to his employment with USB in Edina, he spent time with the Bank of Kirksville and Norwest Financial in Liberty, MO.
Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO and is also a graduate of Missouri School of Banking, Springfield, MO receiving an Excellence Award for Best Bank.  In 2002, he received the MBA Bank Leadership Award for Outstanding Achievement in his bank and Exceptional Contributions and Community Service.
"Craig was an excellent employee and we were disappointed to see him go," said Executive President Chuck Gnuse, USB Lewistown, "However we wish him the best of luck and are confident he will do very well in his new position."
Craig and his wife, Amy, and two sons, Hayden, 7 and Grayson, born in August, live in Edina, where he is very involved in the community.
Miller currently serves as Second Ward Alderman for the City of Edina, board member for the Knox County Community Development Corporation, Board Member for Farmers Mutual Insurance of Macon, and is a member and past president of the Knox County Rotary Club.  For the past seven years, Craig has coached football, basketball and track for Knox County R-1.  He is also past treasurer of the Knox County Promotional Council.
