Two KCR-1 Students Qualify for All-State Choir
Saturday, November 3, seven Knox County Honor Choir students participated in the Northeast District Choir at Moberly, MO. The Freshman/Sophomore choir included Joshua Clark and Kourtney Turner.
Members of the Junior/Senior Choir from Knox County were Sarah Anderson, Laura Blake, Lisa Blake, Jonathan Clark and Angela Perry. These students rehearsed music all day and sang a concert in the late afternoon.
During the day, juniors and seniors had an opportunity to audition for the Missouri All-State Choir. Those selected from Knox County were Lisa Blake, soprano, and Jonathan Clark, tenor, alternate. These students will rehearse and sing with students from all other districts for the Music Educators Convention in January at Tan-Tar-A. Their director for that event will be Dr. Craig Jessop, director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
