Work Scheduled for Route 156 in Knox County
HANNIBAL – Beginning Monday, October 27, MoDOT crews will work on a slide at the Little Fabius River Bridge on Route 156 just west of Newark approximately 1 mile.
Crews will be working on the one lane bridge with equipment set up near the eastbound driving lane and shoulder area. Weather permitting, traffic will be monitored through the work zone by flaggers from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
At various times, the road could be closed to through traffic. Traffic control will be in place to secure the safety of motorists as well as the safety of the workers. Please use extra caution while traveling through the work zone. Delays should be expected.
