 Multi-Jurisdictional Investigation Leads to Four Arrests in Knox County

During the months of August and September 2008 several law enforcement agencies in northeast Missouri received numerous reports of car stereo thefts and burglaries.

After an investigation conducted by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Scotland County Sheriff’s Office and Quincy Police Department three Missouri residents and one Illinois resident were taken into custody.

Caleb L. Schultz, 17, of LaBelle, MO was charged with one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and four counts of Tampering with a motor vehicle in the First Degree, both Class C Felonies. Cris D. Tournear, 20, of LaBelle, MO was charged with one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and four counts of Tampering with a motor vehicle in the First Degree, both Class C Felonies. Erica J. Harvey, 19, of Canton, MO was charged with one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and four counts of Tampering with a motor vehicle in the First Degree, both Class C Felonies.

The Illinois resident, Roland V. Johnson, 34, of Quincy was charged with one count of Burglary in the Second Degree and four counts of Tampering in the First Degree. Further arrests are pending.
