 Accident on Rte M Injures Edina Woman

An accident involving two vehicles occurred on Rte. M, one-half mile north of Rte K south of Rutledge at 12:45 PM on Sunday, January 11, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
According to the report Carl M. Good, 18, of Knox City, was northbound in a 2004 Chevrolet truck when he crossed the center line.
Deanna K. Willet, 33, of Edina, was southbound in a 1998 Ford Explorer. She swerved to miss the Good vehicle, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Willet was transported by Knox County Ambulance to Scotland County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
The truck received no damage and was driven from the scene, the Explorer was a total wreck and was towed by Deano’s Auto Repair of Edina.
The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department and the Knox County Fire and Rescue.
