Area Talent Unites To Perform at Benefit

A large number of the talented musicians and vocalists in Knox and nearby counties have joined together to perform at a benefit for the Jesse Shrouf and Tyler Lonberger families.
The music show will take place Sunday afternoon, February 15th at the Knox City Community Building in Knox City. Admission will be a free will donation at the door.
Scheduled performers include “Backroads” (formerly known as Ramblin’ Fever), featuring Chuck Hayes of Edina, Billy Hayes of Kirksville (Knox City native), Brian Sullivan and Rick Shuey –both of Kirksville; “Expressway” featuring Jerry Clatt of Edina, Thad Daniels of LaPlata, and Mike Tripp of Kirksville (Edina native); and the Edina Assembly of God Praise and Worship Band, featuring Pastor Robert Stevens, Josh Ritchie, Jason and Lori Choate, all of Edina.
Individual performers include: Gary Fagan of Novelty, Taylor Eaton of Edina, Tyler Walton of Edina, Lyndsie Poor of Hurdland, and others.

The Edina Assembly of God Youth Group has volunteered to operate the concession stand during the show. Anyone interested in donating food or soft drinks for the concession stand should contact Dianne Hamm of Edina.
All proceeds will be divided between the families of Jesse Shrouf and Tyler Lonberger to help defray the cost of funeral expenses. The two young men lost their lives in an automobile accident on January 14, 2009, and will be sadly missed by family, friends, and the entire community.
