Michael Dean Combs, 40, of Novelty Missouri, was recently arrested by Knox County Sheriff Mike Kite and has been charged with Stealing (570.030), Class B Felony over twenty-five thousand dollars. A warrant for Combs’ arrest was issued on April 30th, 2010.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol; Corporal Kenneth J. Schulte, Troop B; between November 2007 and August 2009, Combs was the manager of Novelty Feed and Seed located in Novelty, Missouri. While the manager of Novelty Feed and Seed, Combs allegedly used business funds to purchase personal items. Combs allegedly purchased diesel fuel using business funds. Combs allegedly took unauthorized loans from the business and stole cash from the business. Combs allegedly used business products and traded them for reduction of personal expenses he owed for services.
In January 2008, Combs allegedly purchased a tractor for the business. In April 2009 Combs traded that tractor for a different tractor and kept it as his own.
Combs is currently free on $25000 cash only bond. His next court date is set for May 25.
