Edina Man Arrested In Drug Sting
North Missouri Drug Task Force – On Thursday, September 23, 2010, at approximately 1045 hours (8:45am), officers with the North Missouri Drug Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Knox County Sheriff’s Department and the Edina Police Department arrested: George H. Martin Jr. 46 years old of Edina, Missouri.
Martin was arrested at 100 South 1st Street in Edina. The arrest was made after an undercover officer with the North Missouri drug Task Force purchased oxycodone, a controlled substance, from Martin. Charges were filed by the Knox County Prosecuting Attorney’s office and a warrant was issued by Knox County Associate Judge William Alberty charging: George H. Martin Jr. with: Count I, Class A Felony: Distribution of Controlled Substance Near a School; Count II, Class A Felony: Distribution of Controlled Substance near a School
County III, Class B Felony: Delivery of Controlled Substance.
Martin was transported to the Lewis County Detention Center and bond was set at $50,000.00 cash only.
