Holiday Lights In Edina
Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend neighbors Roger Waibel, Kelly Hayes, and Charles McCarty joined forces to bring a winter wonderland to life on the east end of Broadway Street in Edina. They have extended an open invitation to members of the community to come out and enjoy the decorations. A lighted pathway through the display has been set up with an “entrance” arch located on the 1200 block of Broadway east of Shumate. There is no charge to come view these decorations and walk through the display.
“We always decorate our houses to the max. This year we decided we would pool all our stuff together and decorate this corner for everyone in the neighborhood.” Said Waibel. “We worked on it around five days and we may still add more in the future.”
Also, decorators are organizing a visit from Santa in the coming weeks where they will have outdoor heaters and hot chocolate for all to enjoy. We will have more details about the event in next week’s issue of the Sentinel.
