String Of Burglaries In Knox County

KCSO – On Sunday morning, January 8, 2012 the Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) investigated four burglaries in Knox County. 

The first incident was a machine shed east of Edina where various items were taken along with fuel.
 The second incident was at Jackson’s Café in Novelty where a cash register was taken containing approximately $25 in change and miscellaneous other items. 
The third incident reported was at Novelty where suspects pried open a door to a cook shack at the Pioneer Saddle Club horse arena. Items taken from the Pioneer Saddle Club consisted of two empty cash boxes, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies and other items. 
The fourth incident reported was at a machine shed east of Hurdland where a door was kicked in, with nothing reported missing at this time. The cash register from Jackson’s Café and the cash boxes from the Pioneer Saddle Club were recovered. 
The incidents are under investigation by the KCSO. Anyone with information concerning the investigation is asked to call KCSO at 397-2186.
