Rain Doesn’t Stop Relay

This year’s Knox County Relay For Life event wasn’t cancelled after heavy rainfall delayed the start. Cancer survivors kicked off the relay with the traditional first lap of the event. Their caretakers joined them for the second lap. “We need this rain so badly I don’t have the heart to complain about it,” said organizer Betty Couch who was among the many who decided, despite the weather, the Knox County Relay for Life would go on.
