Medicare Phone Scam Warning

Knox County Sheriff Allen Gudehus would like to alert citizens about a telephone scam involving Medicare cards. A caller states he will send a new Medicare card to the intended victim after collecting the person’s bank information.

“Never give out personal information over the phone or internet,” advised the Sheriff.
