Two Men Arrested For Burglary South Of Edina

According to the Knox County Sheriff, Allen Gudehus, two men are in custody after being caught by the property owner allegedly burglarizing a vacant house approximately five miles south of Edina on Highway 15 Sunday afternoon, February 17, 2013.

According to the Sheriff, a call came into the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report two subjects on the property at 3:15 p.m. Sunday. A KCSO Deputy arrived on the scene at 3:45 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol also responded to the call.

Larry E. Hubbard, 53, of Edina and Sidney L. Hettinger, 54, of Novelty were taken into custody for allegedly stealing copper wiring from the property. The two men were booked into the Adair County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
