Tip Leads To Fugitive Arrest

LCSO – January 22, 2014 – On January 20, 2014 the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office received a tip that Edward Eugene Hickman, age 45, of Durham, Missouri was at a residence in Ewing, Missouri.  Hickman, a fugitive wanted in Illinois and Missouri for failing to appear on various drug charges and attempting to flee from law enforcement, was located at a trailer park in Ewing, Missouri.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol took Mr. Hickman into custody without incident.

Mr. Hickman remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash only bond.
