Knox Commission Listens To Public Comments On Ameren Mark Twain Transmission Line Full Meeting – VIDEO
On Friday morning, June 19, 2015, the Knox County Commission listened to public comment on the proposed Ameren of Illinois (ATXI) Mark Twain Transmission Project. Over 40 people attended the meeting, though, only about eight of them addressed the Commission. Each person to speak was given a three minute time limit.
The Commission is deciding if they will write a letter to the Missouri Public Service Commission in favor or against the proposed project. They will make their decision on Monday morning, June 22, 2015, which is the last day the PSC will accept their comments on the proposed high-voltage transmission line.
Below is a recorded video of the entire meeting, which was live streamed by nemonews.net. The public hearing is called to order about three minutes after the video starts. Read more in the June 24, 2015, edition of The Edina Sentinel.
