Sweat For A Vet Benefit

   SWEAT FOR A VET BENEFIT – Law enforcement officers from Missouri and Illinois suited up to sweat it out in a basketball game to benefit the Great River Honor Flights of 2015 on Friday evening, July 17, 2015 at Pepsi Area on the QU campus in Quincy, Illinois.  

  An estimated $6000.00 was raised to honor the men and women who served in the Armed Forces.  The funds will be used be used to send Tri-State Area Veterans on Honor Flights to Washington, D.C. to visit service memorials and monuments at no cost to the Veterans.   

  YOU can still help give to this Sweat for a Vet event by purchasing tee-shirts that are still available and can be purchased for only $5.00 each by contacting the Lewis County Sheriff’s office.

  Missouri team members included (seen in no particular order): Talley Kendrick, Patrick Hollensteiner, Jake DeCoster, Doug Sigfried, Nathan Shinkle, Joe Davidson, David Parrish, Chris Kottwitz, Kyle McGivney, Rob Power, Jerrod Eisenberg, Chad Walton, and Cory Bennett.
