Mother Charged With Child Endangerment For Baby Left In Car

According to court documents, on Monday, February 1, 2016 the Knox County Prosecutor filed a Class C felony charge of child endangerment against Caley J. Dunning, 26, of Edina.

The charge stems from an incident in October of 2015, which Dunning allegedly left her three-month-old child alone in her unlocked vehicle in the Dollar General parking lot in Edina.

A concerned citizen took the child out of the vehicle and contacted emergency services.

Dunning is scheduled to appear in Knox County Court on February 23, 2016 before Judge Tom Redington for an arraignment.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Caley Dunning is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
