UPDATE: Email address CORRECTION – Email your recipes to [email protected].
The Knox County Promotional Council is calling on Knox County cooks who would like to have recipes included in the 2016 Knox County Corn Festival Cookbook. Recipes should be submitted by May 1, 2016.
Recipes can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to: KCPC, PO BOX 62, Edina, MO 63537.
Submissions should have the name of the dish at the very top followed by the ingredient list, the recipe directions (including cooking time and temperature) and the name and township of the cook. It is very important to submit the recipe this order to help make formatting and organizing the cookbook a bit easier. Also, contact information should be included with each submission.
“The contact information will not be published,” said KCPC Co-chairwoman Rhonda Cardwell. “On the reverse side or at the bottom, any contact information, such as phone numbers and email addresses, will work.”
According to Cardwell, the cookbook will be sold to raise money for the Corn Festival. The cost of the cookbook will be in the $12 range, give or take, depending on publishing fees.
“We will do our best to keep it as low as possible,” said Cardwell. “I’m going to try to get as much history in the cookbook as I can from the last 30-years of Cornfest.”
