Water Main Break In Edina VIDEO

On Wednesday, March 16, 2016 a water main break occurred at the intersection of East Clay and North Campbell Streets in northeast Edina. Water was flowing from dozens of cracks in the asphalt.

The break was discovered at approximately 5:30 p.m. and Supervisor of Utilities Ty Parrish was contacted.

The water has since been turned off to the effected area.

Edina water customers on North Campbell and North East Avenue south of East Jackson and north of East Monticello Streets will not have water service until the water main has been fixed.

Water service should be restored in two to 15 hours. Once service is restored a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
