LaBelle Man Arrested For Receiving Stolen Property

On April 7, 2016, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carlos J. Zabala, age 39, of La Belle, Missouri for receiving stolen property, a class C felony.

The Sheriff’s Office was called to a report of a vehicle in a wooded area South of La Belle near Birch Street.

Upon further investigation, it was determined the vehicle had been stolen from Fierge Auto Sales in Taylor, Missouri in early March 2016.

Mr. Zabala is currently lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.

The charges for which Zabala has been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt.
