Two Canton Residents Arrested On Separate Drug Charges

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, on April 22, 2016, members of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and the Canton Police Department executed a search warrant at 700 Pirkey Avenue, Canton, Missouri.

After conducting the search for illegal drugs, Brandon L Meyer , age 26, and Brady A Simmons, age 19, of the residence were arrested on separate drug charges.

Brandon Meyer was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, namely marijuana, and remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail on a $25000 cash only bond.

Brady Simmons was charged with possession of a controlled substance, namely marijuana, and was released after arraignment.

These arrests were the culmination of a six month investigation conducted by law enforcement.

The charges for which Meyer and Simmons have been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt.
