Durham Man Arrested For Receiving Stolen Property

On August 11, 2016, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office released an arrest report.

According to that report, on August 10, 2016, Roger D. Morse Sr., age 53, of Durham, Missouri was arrested on a charge of Receiving Stolen Property, a class C felony.

This stems from an investigation initiated by the Adam’s County Sheriff’s Department and assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and the West Central Illinois Drug Task Force which led to an indictment by a Lewis County Grand Jury.  The investigation is continuing and further arrests are pending.

Mr. Morse is currently lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash only bond.
