New Early Warning Siren Arrives in Hurdland, USDA Reps. Discuss Importance of Early Warning in Rural Communities VIDEO
On Tuesday, September 20, 2016 representatives of the USDA Office of Rural Development met with Hurdland officials to announce the arrival of the town’s new early warning siren.
The siren was purchased with funds raised locally and a grant provided by USDA Rural Development. Local and USDA officials came together in Hurdland to mark the occasion and gave an intimate press conference in the shady bandstand at the Hurdland Town Square.
