Knox County Sheriff Asking Citizens to Report Suspicious Activity Following Theft from Water Tower Site Near Novelty and Attempted Burglaries in Knox City

Knox County Sheriff’s Office Press Release – Knox County, MO – January 19, 2018 – There has been a rash of attempted burglaries in Knox County, predominantly in the Knox City area, with several residents reporting someone has attempted to break-in to their homes. These seem to have happened primarily during the day.

We also had a theft down in Novelty. Several pieces of equipment were stolen from the location of the new water tower including three Lincoln Flextec 450 welders. This crime occurred between 3:00 p.m. on January 12 and 10:00 a.m. on January 13, at the site of the new water tower west of Novelty on Highway 156.
