Hay Bale Trailer Fire North of Edina – VIDEO
The Edina Volunteer Fire Department responded to a hay bale trailer fire late Friday afternoon, June 1, 2018 at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Old Lake Road less than a mile north of Edina.
No one was I jured in the fire and the people transporting the hay were able to get their truck unhitched from the trailer before major damage was done.
It is unknown how the fire started.
Approximately 28 bales of hay and the wood floor of the trailer burned.
The smoke from the fire could be seen from the north side of Edina.
EVFD, the Edina Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call.
