Local Missouri Entrepreneur to Appear on Shark Tank to Pitch Groundbreaking

Press Release – From her humble beginnings growing up on a farm in La Belle, Missouri, Lucinda Cramsey, an entrepreneur who runs Moink, a nation-wide meat subscription company, will be featured on ABC’s Shark Tank Sunday, March 10 at 9:00 pm CT.
Having grown up on a farm, she experienced first-hand the struggles small family farms face and has made it her life mission to help family farmers, but she never fathomed she’d appear on national television, pitching a business that has the power to change America’s food system.
“I hail from a town of 600 people, I didn’t go to college, and I grew up on a family farm in which we had lots of hard times. I guess you could say the odds were stacked against me. So, the idea that I will now be featured on National Television and given the chance to fight for a business I so strongly believe in, seems rather surreal. I am honored and humbled.” Lucinda, said.
“With four companies controlling over 80 percent of the meat industry in this country family farms are struggling and disappearing at an alarming rate. And consumers are searching for high-quality meat raised humanely and ethically. We knew there had to be a better way to connect farmers and consumers which is why we created Moink.” Said Lucinda.
Moink is a meat box subscription company that connects tender- hearted carnivores with high quality, humanely raised meats from small family farms. They curated boxes can be customized and they offer grass-fed and grass-finished beef and lamb. Pasture raised pork and chicken and wild-caught salmon.
Lucinda Cramsey is the daughter of Susan and the late Billy Bob Turpin. She’s also the granddaughter of the late Aurolyn B. and Harold Turpin, and Janna and the late Gene Woodard. Lucinda is married to Adam Cramsey, a Liberty, IL native and they currently reside in La Belle, MO with their two children, Fiona and Henry.
