Knox County grabbed an 18-2 lead in December 20, 2019 Lewis and Clark Conference girls action and powered to a 55-9 win over Westran at Knox County.
Knox County outscored Westran 12-1 in the second quarter for a 35-3 halftime lead.
The Lady Eagles pitched a third quarter defensive shutout, rolling on an 18-0 third quarter run to a 53-3 lead. The clock ran by the Missouri Mercy Rule in the fourth quarter.
Westran outscored the Lady Eagles 6-2 in the final period for the 55-9 win. Riley Strange scored 20 points in three quarters. Kylee Woods and Kinsley Johnson scored six points each.
Brianna Miller and Daniela Dooley scored five points each. Jaiden Linebaugh tossed in seven points. Kaitlin Campbell scored four points. Alyssa Peavler added two KCHS points.
