Statement from the Knox County Community Center

Good afternoon,

Per recommendations by the President for social distancing in regards to the recent outbreak of COVD-19 the Board of Directors & myself feel it is necessary to close the Knox County Community Center fitness area beginning 12 pm March 19th through April 1, 2020. At that time we will reevaluate the situation. It is a difficult decision, but we feel the safety of persons of all ages needs to be taken into consideration and made a priority. The Education Hall, all classes and all activities will shut down for this period as well. The office will be closed to outside traffic. If you need to reach the center please call 660-397-2196, message us on Facebook, or use our webpage at kccommunitycenter.com. Thank you for your patience during these trying times. Stay healthy, wash your hands and abide by the health recommendations and we will be back up and going soon.
