Maywood Man Arrested For Felony Unlawful Possession Of Firearm

  On May 11, 2020, members of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alex M. Treaster, age 25, of Maywood, Missouri on one charge of unlawful possession of a firearm, a class D felony. This arrest was the result of an investigation on May 5, 2020.  At that time deputies were conducting a ‘bond check” to ensure Mr. Treaster was in compliance with his conditions of bond.  Mr. Treaster, a convicted felon, also has a pending burglary case in Lewis County from a prior investigation and arrest in October, 2019. Mr. Treaster was found to have been in possession of an automatic handgun.

Mr. Treaster remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
