Municipal Election Results for Knox County, Missouri – June 2, 2020
Knox County, MO – The 2020 Municipal Election, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held on Tuesday, June 2.
Countywide only 17 percent of registered voters turned out for the election, according to the unofficial election results published by the Knox County Clerk’s Office.
For the KCR-1 School Board, two newcomers were elected to the Board and one incumbent retained his seat. Kimberly Jansen, Matthew Reel (I) and Andrew Parrish were elected over challengers Sheree Prebe and Martha Strange.

In the Mayor of Edina race, Alex Reel overtook John Bode. Reel will transition from her seat as Second Ward Alderwoman to Mayor.

In the Edina City Council First Ward race, incumbent David Bugh overtook Eric Hunolt. Uncontested candidate Stacy Rimer will fill the Second Ward seat and uncontested incumbent Rick Yoakum will retain his Third Ward seat.
