Scotland County Hospital and Blessing Hospital Partner to Open New Clinic in Edina

By Alisa Kigar, Scotland County Hospital

The new Edina Medical Services on Hwy 6 East welcomed dozens of local residents for a ribbon cutting at the Jim Sears Building, Suite A, on June 11, 2020. The primary care clinic is staffed by lead clinician Tabitha Rohr, FNP-C. Local residents Shannon Rudd, RN, and LaDonna Stauffer, MA, anchor the support staff at the new clinic. The Medical Director of the clinic is Dr. Jeff Davis. Dr. Davis is not new to the Knox County community as he is the Medical Director to both the Knox County Nursing Home and the Knox County Ambulance District. The clinic is a partnership between Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, MO, and Blessing Health System in Quincy, IL.

Nurse Practitioner Rohr can provide a wide range of services to area residents, of all ages, on a daily basis for primary care from DOT physicals to well-women visits, vaccinations, chronic disease management and much more. Dr. Davis sees patients two days a month as Nurse Practitioner Rohr’s collaborating physician. He can do circumcisions, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments, IUDs, joint injections, new OBs/prenatal patients and much more.

“Scotland County Hospital and our partners at Blessing are committed to quality primary care in rural northeast Missouri, and the new Edina Medical Services represents our commitment to that mission,” said Dr. Jeff Davis, Medical Director of Edina Medical Services. “Nurse Practitioner Rohr, myself and all of our Edina clinic staff, along with visiting specialists from Blessing Health System are excited to greet new faces and care for families at our new Edina clinic.”

Edina Medical Services is open Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm. For an appointment, please call 660-460-8140. Walk-In patients are always welcome at the clinic during regular business hours.
