Community Holds Surprise Parade for Fr. Franklin

Surprise Birthday Parade for Father Colin Franklin VID- Parishioners of the St. Joseph Catholic Parish and
community members participated in a Surprise Birthday Parade for Father Colin Franklin on Wednesday
evening, June 17, 2020, along North Main Street in Edina. The parade was led by Edina Police Chief Ryan
Bishop who led the procession with lights and sirens. Participants decorated their vehicles, honked and
waved bidding both “Happy Birthday” and “We Will Miss You” messages ahead of Fr. Franklin’s new
assignment elsewhere in Missouri at the beginning of July.
