Edina, Mo. – “Making the best better” for generations of Missouri 4-H’ers, Michael Ellison of Baring, MO was inducted into the 2020 4-H Hall of Fame. He was among 43 inductees from 36 counties establishing a legacy totaling 1,008 years of service to 4-H.

He has served on both the 4-H Council and Fair Board as a representative, and Past Vice-President and President of both 4-H Council and Fair Board. Mike is also a member of the Knox County Farm Bureau and Ag Boosters.
“Knox County youth are fortunate to have a volunteer with Mike’s dedication to the 4-H program,” shares Crystal Murr, 4-H Youth Program Associate in Knox County. “His devotion to the 4-H program and our youth is an asset to our community.”

Volunteers inducted into the Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame have committed years of their lives to make 4-H in the state of Missouri a strong program.”

Our volunteers, like the ones we celebrate in our Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame have shown us the true meaning of the words devotion, compassion, and commitment.
