Grandpa’s 1954 Kaiser Darrin
With Covid-19 still around, all kinds of mask are being made from: favorite sports team, favorite soda pop, favorite restaurants, favorite singers, to many more.
One day, I heard a story behind one particular mask, touched my heart. “My grandpa owned a 1954 Kaiser Darrin some years ago,” Joel said, “and today the whole family proudly wears a mask with that emblem on it.”
And, I pondered, “O Lord, how precious! What a beautiful way for a family to stay connected, treasured memories in the making for generations to come!”
And, my heart began to sing, “Blest be the tie that binds, our hearts in Christian love; The fellowship of kindred minds, Is like to that above.”—John Fawcett.
“There is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”—Proverbs 18:24b.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”—John 10:27.
