KENNY STICE
Kenneth E. Stice, 77 of Canton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
The son of Chester and Darlene Florea Stice was born on July 3, 1943 at LaBelle, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Carolyn Alderton on July 3, 1962 at Monticello, Missouri.
Kenny was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church. He served on the Lewistown Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years and was also a former Fire Chief. He served as Mayor of Lewistown and was a member and former President of the Highland Booster Club. He worked for REC for over 30 years retiring in 2006. Kenny was always involved in and a spectator of his children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sporting activities. He was an avid bowler who was voted on the All-Star Bowling Team, a NASCAR fan and St. Louis Cardinal Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Stice of Canton, Mo.; son, Martin (Tina) Wiseman of Monticello, Mo.; daughters, Christine (Bob) Owens of Winfield, Mo., Sharon (Steve) Williams of The Villages, Fl., Donetta (Randy) Cain of LaGrange, Mo., Joni (Stace) Fusselman of Lewistown, Mo., Jackie (Shown) Schlueter of Lewistown, Mo. and “Grady”; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Judith (Meb) Wollbrink of Quincy, Il.; brother, Gene (Mary) Stice of Quincy, Il.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth MacLeod.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Pastor Lance Bonnell officiating. Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 AM until the time of services at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown.
The family requests that everyone attending services please wear a mask and follow the social distancing guidelines.
Memorials may be made to the Monticello United Methodist Church or the Western Lewis County Fire Protection District.
