Serve the LORD with Gladness
My husband and I were on our way to Church one morning, traveling down a country road, when we couldn’t help notice empty fields along the way. And, I pondered, “It’s Spring and planting season is just around the corner. John Deere tractors will be planting corn and soybeans and then green sprouts will be breaking the ground.”
And, I lifted prayer: “Thank you, Lord, for Spring and for farmers who work hard to put food on our tables every day. Please give them strength for each new day.”
“Serve the Lord with gladness” in our works and ways, Come before His presence with our songs of praise; Unto Him our Maker we would pledge a new, Life’s supreme devotion to service true.”—McKinney.
“MAKE a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing.”—Psalm 100:1-2.
