ELVIN DEAN KLOCKE
Elvin Dean Klocke, age 70, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri.
He was born May 30, 1950, in Knox County, Missouri, the son of Raymond Willard and Beulah Catherine True Klocke.
Elvin graduated from Knox County High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his earlier years Elvin worked on the family farm and was employed as a truck driver for Hustead Trucking. Elvin moved to Texas where he continued Trucking until his retirement in 2017 when he retired and returned to Edina, MO. Elvin enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels, collecting sports memorabilia, and woodworking.
Surviving: one sister, Sharon Kemper of Clayton, IL; one brother, Leland Klocke of Edina, MO; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Klocke; seven nieces and one nephew along with numerous cousins.
Elvin was preceded by his parents; one sister, Linda Kay Klocke; two half-brothers, Raymond Junior and William Francis Klocke.
Reverend Graig Connell officiated for the Graveside services with full military honors held Friday, March 26, 2021, in Bee Ridge Cemetery MO, with Jim Glasgow, Leroy Cardwell, Dale Klocke, Larry Klocke, Gary Klocke and Darrell Klocke as casket bearers.
Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
