Knox County High School juniors and seniors are excited to participate in this year’s Prom, which will be held in the Knox County Elementary School Gymnasium this Saturday, April 24, 2021. This year’s prom theme is “Starry Night”.
The Grand March will be held outside, weather permitting. Prom goers will walk from the high school west to the elementary school. Community members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to see the Grand March as seating will not be provided. If the Grand March has to be moved inside the high school gymnasium, a limited number of tickets will be offered to prom goers.
The Grand March will begin at 7:00 p.m. followed by the prom, which will begin at 8:00 p.m.
The elementary school gymnasium will be closed to the public before the Grand March. In years past, families were allowed in to see the decorations before the festivities. This year, only prom goers will permitted to enter the building.
The Edina Sentinel will live stream the Grand March beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the NEMOnews Facebook page for those who cannot attend.
