Brashear opened up a two run home baseball game with Meadville, scoring four times in the fourth and five sixth inning runs for an 11-1 victory in six innings. Brandon Jochimsen was 3-4 at the plate with two home runs over the fence and three runs batted in.
Jace Snelling singled and scored on Brandon Jochimsen’s first inning RBI hit. Carson Erwin walked leading off the Tiger third inning and scored for a 2-0 lead.
Wade Vandyke hit a one out Eagle home run over the fence with one out in the fourth inning. Vandyke led Meadville with a 2-2 day at the plate with the home run.
Avery Zentz and Jace Snelling walked and scored on a two out errors. Carson Erwin circled the bases on an error. Brandon Jochimsen hit a home run for a 6-1 Brashear lead after four innings.
Carson Erwin walked leading off the Brashear sixth inning. Brandon Jochimsen hit a two run homer. Jack Reeves walked and scored. John Higgins reached on an error and scored. Avery Zentz singled and scored.
Nate Triplett drove in the winning run with a Tiger hit. Brashear scored 11 runs on seven hits. Carson Erwin scored three runs and Avery Zentz scored twice.
Carson Erwin went 5 2/3 innings on the mound for the win. Erwin struck out nine batters with one walk on five hits. Jace Snelling finished the game on the hill, going a third of an inning.
Wade Vandyke pitched four innings for Meadville with nine strikeouts. Vandyke issued four walks on four hits. Six runs were charged to the Eagle starting pitcher, one earned. Kaje Tsikoyak tossed the final inning and a third allowing five runs, three earned on three hits.
