Top seeded Silex (14-1) defeated Elsberry by a 7-2 final score in the September 25, 2021 championship game of the Louisiana Bulldog Invitational Softball Tournament. Second seeded Monroe City downed five seed Van-Far by a 10-0 margin to win third place.
Eighth seeded Knox County (6-8) blanked #6 Mark Twain by a 13-0 final score in six innings for the consolation championship. Agnes Reel and Daniela Dooley pitched a combined no-hitter. Clopton topped Louisiana by a 12-0 final in the seventh place game.
Silex downed the Lady Eagles by a 9-2 final score in first round action. Knox County stopped fourth seeded Clopton by a 5-2 margin in the consolation semifinal round.
First round scores included Van-Far topping Clopton by a 6-3 final. Monroe City blanked Louisiana 9-0. Third seeded Elsberry downed Mark Twain by a 5-2 margin.
Silex blasted Van-Far 15-0 in championship semifinal play. Elsberry stopped Monroe City by a 7-4 final in the remaining Louisiana Tournament championship semifinal. Mark Twain topped Louisiana 6-5 in the consolation semifinal round.
