On Saturday September 18, 2021, seven members of the Knox County High School Choir and students from 41 other schools traveled to Hannibal High School to audition for All-District Choir. Every single student from the Knox County group earned a spot in the ensemble. This is quite an accomplishment because the students don’t only compete against schools of our size. They were competing with students ranging from 1A schools all the way up to Troy Buchanan and Columbia’s 5A schools. The students will travel to Moberly on November 6 and perform a concert with the top singers in the district. Connor Melendez will also audition for All-State Choir on this day. If you see these students out and about in Knox County, take time to congratulate them on their accomplishment!
