Brashear scored twice in the first inning of their September 28, 2021 Tri-County Conference softball game with Bucklin/Macon County and powered to a 10-0, six inning win. Lady Tiger seniors Sierra Snyder and Kynleigh White were honored along with their parents at Senior Night ceremonies between games of their softball/baseball doubleheader.
Aubrey Borgmeyer singled leading off the Lady Tiger first inning. Lacey Fisher and Haley McNamar singled. Aubrey Borgmeyer and Lacey Fisher scored for a 2-0 Brashear lead.
Lacey Fisher and Haley McNamar scored for a 4-0 lead after three innings. Fisher doubled Paige Stutsman home with a two out RBI hit. Cassidy Althide singled with one out in the Brashear fifth inning. Tayla Garlock doubled followed by a Paige Stutsman hit.
Althide and Garlock scored for a 7-0 lead after five innings. Lacey Fisher led off the Tiger sixth inning with a hit. Haley McNamar doubled Fisher home. Sierra Snyder singled.
Kynleigh White grounded to shortstop, scoring Sierra Snyder for the winning run. Brashear scored ten runs on 16 hits. Aubrey Borgmeyer was 2-3 at bat with a run scored.
Lacey Fisher went 4-4 at bat with three runs scored and two batted in. Haley McNamar went 4-4 with two runs scored and another batted in. Sierra Snyder was 2-4 for the Lady Tigers.
Alexa Borgmeyer pitched three innings with seven strikeouts and no hits. Cassidy Althide pitched the last three innings of two hit shutout softball. Althide struck out two with one walk on two hits.
The Bulldogs were blanked on two hits. Ashlyn Russell pitched, striking out two with one walk on 16 hits and ten runs.
