Canton (15-4, Ranked first in Class 1) was seeded first for the MSHSAA Class 1, District 9 softball tournament scheduled from October 13-16, 2021 at Canton. Knox County (7-12) was seeded fourth.

The Lady Eagles will play fifth seeded Marion County (8-6) in the lone District 9 first round game on Wednesday, October 13 at 6PM.

The winner of the Knox County vs. Marion County game will take on Canton on Thursday, October 14 at 5PM in the District semifinal round. Second seeded North Shelby (15-7) plays third seed Scotland County (6-13 in the remaining district semifinal game at 6:30PM.

The Class 1, District 9 Championship game is scheduled for Saturday, October 16 at 2PM.
