Highland jumped out to an 18-3 lead in November 30, 2021 varsity girls play with Louisiana and powered to a 63-21 win. Ansley Bringer fired in a game high 20 points. Ali Reed was next in line with nine Lady Cougar points.
Highland pressure defense contributed to Louisiana turnovers. Highland led 45-4 at the half. The Lady Cougars went 7-9 at the free throw line on the night. Summer Goings scored eight Cougar points.
Dallas Dare and Carly Murphy scored seven points each. Ellie Goehl and Morgan Keith scored four points each. Olivia Ritterbusch and Rachel Bringer added two Highland points each.
De’Aira McGlothlin led Louisiana with seven points. Tyona Campbell added five Bulldog points.
