North Shelby senior Kyle Smith was selected to the 2021 Missouri Football Coaches Association 8-Man Football First Team All-State offense. The MOFBCA announced their 8-Man, along with Class 1-6 All State and All District football teams during their December 10-11, 2021 meetings.
Senior Justin Lunsford of North Shelby was named to the 8-Man first team all-state at defensive lineman. Lunsford was chosen 8-Man Defensive Player of the Year. Drexel junior Jacob Coffey was the MOFBCA Offensive Player of the Year. Phillip Dean of Drexel was the 8-Man Football Coach of the Year.
North Shelby had two more first team all-state defensive selections. Senior Noah Greenwell was a first team all-state linebacker. Carson Orr was a first team defensive back. Brendyn McDaniel was a first team all-state punter.
Area 8-Man Football second team all-state selections included North Shelby senior Cale Stoneburner who was selected to the 2nd team all-state offense as an Athlete. Knox County saw senior Branson Miller make the 2nd team all-state unit as a Return Specialist.
North Shelby won their 8-Man Football district in 2021. The Raiders finished ranked third in Missouri 8-Man Football with a 12-1 overall record. Knox County finished their first 8-Man season in the District Semifinal round. The Eagles concluded with a 7-3 overall mark.
Knox County had five players claim eight spots on the MOFBCA 8-Man Football All District 2 Teams. Senior Carter Marble was an All-District Linebacker. Senior Braydon Miller was an All-District Wide Receiver. Senior Elijah Ward was an All-District defensive lineman.
KCHS Sophomore Robert Dooley was an All-District Offensive Lineman. Senior Branson Miller was All-District at Quarterback, Defensive Back and Kick Returner.
North Shelby had 11 All-District spots to their credit in 2021. All Raider All District players were Seniors. Brendyn McDaniel was an all-district punter. Carson Orr made All-District at Defensive Back.
Noah Greenwell made all-district at linebacker. Justin Lunsford (Defensive Lineman and Running back), Tight End Kyle Smith, Quarterback and Defensive Back Cale Stoneburner, Offensive lineman Luke Schwanke, and Defensive Back Robert Uhlmeyer.
