JOSEPHINE HELENA WALLER

Josephine Helena Waller, age 94 of Palmyra, MO, formerly of LaBelle, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, in Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.

She was born at Marblehead, IL on December 8, 1927, the daughter of Joseph Arnett and Laura Naomi Goodwin Arnett. She was united in marriage to Johnny Waller, Jr. on December 8, 1948 in Adams County, IL, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1997. Josephine was also preceded by her parents, and a sister Norma Shugart.

Surviving is one daughter Joyce Ann Waller of Palmyra, MO, two sons, Michael Eugene (Gail) Waller of Warren, MO and David Alan Waller of Hannibal, MO, four grandchildren, Laura Krogman of St. Louis, MO, Tammy Wiemelt of New London, MO, Crissy Seangmany of Quincy, IL, Shane Waller of Hannibal, MO, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a special niece Dolly Whitney of Quincy, IL and a special nephew Robbie (Cindy) Shugart of Decatur, IL.

Josephine was a homemaker, wife and mother. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing and bingo. In later years she loved to ride in the car sightseeing. She helped many years making the cross in my pocket as a ministry. She was a good kind Christian woman and will be missed. She was a member of the LaBelle First Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the LaBelle Cemetery, LaBelle, MO. Pastor Jesse Rogers will officiate the services.

There will be no visitation. The Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO is in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers will be family.
