LINDA LOU BOLTZ HOUSE
Linda Lou House, age 71, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
She was born November 22, 1950, at Colony, Missouri the daughter of Marshall J. and Doris Irene Lindsey Boltz. Linda was united in marriage to Ronald House on August 28, 1969, in Knox City, MO.
Surviving are her husband Ronald House of LaBelle, MO, one daughter Lisa House of Lewistown, MO, three sisters and brother-in-law’s, Betty (Steve) Whiteaker of LaBelle, MO, Judy (Bill) Fountain of Knox City, MO, and Alma (Doug) Wilson of Knox City, MO, brother-in-law Mike (Linda) Wilson of Knox City, MO, four grandchildren, Christopher Edwards, Rebecca Bryant, Ambereana Hawkins, and Larissa Goodwin, six great grandchildren, Karter Hawkins, Krislynn Hawkins, Kemily Newman, Tina Bryant, Teagan Bryant and Alexander Edwards, son-in-law Kenny Edwards, and several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Tina Edwards, brothers Dennis and Donald Boltz, a sister Velma Wilson and one niece Julie Anna Fountain.
Linda attended Colony School and graduated from Knox County High School. She attended Nursing school in Hannibal and received her L.P.N. License. Linda worked at the Hostel House in Edina, MO, worked as an LPN and MedTech at the LaBelle Manor for eighteen years and also at Heartland Resources in Ewing for fifteen years. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, her bulldog Killer and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Doug Wilson and Reverend Mike Wilson will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Colony Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Christopher Edwards, Alec Hawkins, Steve Bryant, Steve Whiteaker, Mike Whiteaker, and Steven Wainwright. Honorary bearer will be Kenny Edwards.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
