SHIRLEY (JEANNIE) WHEELER

Shirley (Jeannie) Wheeler age 76, passed away on January 20, 2022, in Arlington, Texas at her home. She was born on June 6, 1945, in Knox County, MO. The daughter of Burley Randolph and Emma Lillian Lanz Hustead.

Shirley is survived by her husband Larry D Wheeler; her children, Tammy Culberson and husband James, Chuck Rippon, Lewis Wheeler and wife Jamie, Mark Wheeler and wife Brandee, and Gregory White and wife Elizabeth; sister Carmen Kessler and brother Elza Hustead; her grandchildren, Amber Woodall, Keith Rippon, Neco Rippon, Ashlea Wheeler, Kailea Wheeler, Lewis (LJ) Wheeler Jr, Hunter Latty, Hayden Latty, Derek Wheeler, Dylan Wheeler, Gregory (Brett) White, Natasha White and Genifer White; her great grandchildren, Scott, Lila, Abel, Kylie, Huntley, Blakelyn, Kolt, Makenna, Addisyn, Barrett, Alivia, Briyah, Blaine, Brynnley, Maddie, Laney, Zoei and Dravin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by parents Burley and Emma Hustead; her sisters, Wilda (Bill) Hudson, Anna Hudson, Bonnie Forsythe and Sandy Walker; her brothers, Vernon, Orville, Earl Lee, Larry and Harry Hustead.

Shirley graduated from Knox City High School. Since moving from MO, she has lived in Illinois and Texas. She worked over 50 years in manufacturing up till the age of 75. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and going out to eat, loved those crepes at IHOP. Holidays and family day was her favorite times of year. Shirley was a true Texas Ranger fan who enjoyed watching every game and collecting Texas Rangers bobble heads.

At Shirley’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Her favorite charity was The American Heart Association, if you wish to donate in her name.
