JANE ANNE GUDEHUS HEIMER
Jane Anne Heimer, age 75, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, in Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
She was born October 14, 1946, in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Glen and Vivian Lucille Starks Gudehus.
Jane Anne attended schools in Brashear, Baring and graduated from Knox County High School. She lived most of her life in the Edina area, with the exception of the last two years living in Kirksville. She was employed for 36 years as a bookkeeper with COOP in Edina and for 12 years Jane Anne drove the O.A.T.S. Bus.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending bible study, and having lunch with her friends. Jane Anne was well known for her chocolate cream pies. She was a member of the Edina United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two children, Angela (Paul) Frazier of Kirksville, MO, and Andy Heimer of Gibbs, MO, two brothers, David (Judy) Gudehus of Moberly, MO, and Gene (Shirley) Gudehus of Steele, MO; one sister-in-law, Claudette Gudehus of Edina, MO; four grandchildren, Tyler Heimer, Rachel Heimer, Alex Frazier, Willow Frazier and fiancé Jason Newman; one greatgrandchild, Dylan Heimer; and several nieces and nephews.
Jane Anne was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; daughter-in-law, Kara Heimer; grandson, Andrew Michael Heimer; and a brother, Gerald Glen “Jerry” Gudehus.
Visitation and Funeral Services were held Monday, April 25, 2022, in the Hudson- Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri, with Reverend Graig Connell officiating for the services. Burial was in Park View Memorials Gardens in Kirksville, Missouri, with Tyler Heimer, Alex Frazierr, Keith Gudehus, Allen Gudehus, Jared Gudehus and Neil Gudehus as casket bearers and Rachel Heimer, Willow Frazier, Dylan Heimer, Bobby Hunolt, Red Callahan and Mike Kinsel as honorary bearers.
Musical selections will be “In The Garden” and “Old Rugged Cross”.
Memorials are suggested to the Edina United Methodist Church or the Donor’s Choice.
