Knox County (9-3) remained undefeated in conference play with an 18-3 victory over Schuyler County in April 26, 2022 varsity baseball action at Lancaster. Rylan Roberts drove a three run homer over the fence during a five score first inning.
Roberts was the winning pitcher, striking out six Ram batters. Roberts walked two on three hits in three innings pitched. Kale Windy pitched the first two innings for Schuyler County. Windy walked five with one strikeout.
Schuyler County was blanked during the first two innings. Parker Dabney came off the Ram bench to draw a third inning leadoff walk. Kale Windy launched a two run homer. Ryan Farris doubled with one down in the Ram third inning.
Farris advanced on a wild pitch and later scored on another wild offering. Rylan Roberts stuck out the final two Ram batters.
Braydon Miller stroked an RBI double his first time up during a 13 run Knox County third. Branson Miller drilled a two RBI KCHS hit. Braydon Miller singled in two more Eagle runs.
Branson Miller was 2-3 for Knox County with two runs scored and three batted in. Robert Dooley drove in three Eagle runs. The Eagles scored 18 runs on 10 hits and one error.
Schuyler County scored three runs on three hits and seven errors. Kale Windy hit a home run with two RBI’s.
